Louise "Weazy" Tremblay - Line Producer
I fancy myself a writer and have been talking about writing a
screenplay for about, um, 15 years. Getting involved with
Southern Girl Films is probably just another sophisticated ploy
to avoid sitting alone in a room with my laptop, but I'm telling
myself it's "research." (I can be very convincing when I want to
rationalize procrastination.) On the other hand, I'm learning so much
from this amazing bunch of people that it can't help but improve the
quality of that fantasy screenplay. (Have I convinced you yet?)
I'm a recent transplant to this area and these Southern Girls have
embraced me like long lost kin, even though I'm a Yank. I really love
to solve problems and organize projects, so being a producer is a perfect
fit. And it may just turn out that my talents are better used in film
production than in writing. Then I'd get to play with the other kids all
the time!
